I am packed and freaking out. In my heart, I know it's a done deal. After all of my research, I can't imagine not loving it there, but we shall see for sure soon.
My head is spinning. We would have businesses, houses and cars to sell if we go ahead with this. My middle child is mad at us. My family is not speaking to me over this. And the flight is going to be a test of my mental strength to overcome pain without drugging myself into a stupor.
Hold me.
Re: Leaving for Geneva
Dh has a final meeting and we're checking out the area and housing. I'm dying over the home prices prices in Lake Geneva. I hope I don't pass out when viewing the properties. lol
Thanks!
This is such an awesome opportunity. I'm so excited for you and jealous! Your child will come around and your family is lame for taking it so poorly. GL on the flight.

I don't think I read your OP very closely because I didn't realize you were talking about moving GENEVA (as in Switzerland?!) I thought you were talking about moving out of state or something. lol
Your kids will come around. One of my co-workers is from Germany and they kicked and screamed when she told them they were moving to the US, but flash forward a few years now they complain when they "have to" spend more than a week in Germany.
Yep, we are going overseas. A bunch of people IRL have thought that also since there are Genevas in different states.
Support is not one of their strong suits. It's mostly my mother, but for some reason everyone follows her lead. Sheep. I do think my dad is secretly excited, but he won't speak out against her. He is so strong in business, but he is afraid of his wife.
What are you thinking for schooling? There are lots of international schools but a local school is a great experience too, assuming your kids speak the language?
Good luck, I'm so jealous right now!!
I have a preschooler, middleschooler and a teen. We're looking at schooling while we are there too. So much to think about!
