Baby Journals

Hi everyone, I was wondering, what baby journal are you using (if you are using any)?  I have been writing in a Word document a little each night. My cousin bought me a journal and told me they didn't have many to choose from. Before I start using it, I was wondering if you have one that you love and what is the name of it?  The one she got me is "The Pregnancy Journal" by A. Christine Harris, PH D. It is a day to day guide.

Oh - good question! I really want to keep a journal, but feel like it would just get repetitive. I feel like I could use some writing prompts since I'm not a creative writer. I'm looking forward to people's answers.

i dont think im going to use a journal really im not really a writer so i mean i might make like a photo album with a picture of my test and my letter of pregnancy and ultrasounds and anything else i might get that is kind of important to me but no writing for me.  i dont think im even going to do the week by week thing of my belly. i might include my pregnancy photo album in my childs baby book, BD doesnt want to be a part of his/her life so i want my baby to know that atleast i was more than excited to have him/her and that wheather or not i find a father figure for him/her he/she still has some one that loves them more than life its self and that i wouldnt know what to do with out them from this point on my life revolves around my child lol (he/she is going to be spoiled sour lol)

I keep my blog going throughout my pregnancy. (Link in siggy) For DS I have this journal (The Belly Book) and the 1st year book (My Baby Book) that follows it. I like them as a set, they're more fun rather than serious and I thought it'd be nice for him to have the books for when he's older. As I get farther along in my pregnancy, I'll probably pick up both for this LO.

This!! I used The Belly Book for both of my girls and just bought another copy at Barnes & Noble yesterday. It's humerous but really a great journal. I haven't kept a baby book but did see the follow up book mentioned and think I'll probably pick it up.

With my son, I jsut wrote in a notebook. Nothing fancy. I will do the same with this one.

For DD I used The Belly Book and liked it a lot.  For this one, I'm using the same Etsy seller that I bought DD's baby book through.  I wish I knew she made pg packs when I was pg with DD bc it is nice to have it all in one book.

I found a journal at Barnes and Nobel it is called "The Nine".  I was looking for something that would document my pregnancy.  I didn't want a planner where I wrote down the budget for baby and other info like that.  While that is important I wanted this journal to more about the pregnancy; how I was feeling, how I told my husband, how I tell my family.  I would say it depends on what you are looking for.  But I was felt a plain notebook would be difficult for me because I wouldn't be sure what to write.

Geez, I feel like a slacker mom. I didn't keep a journal with my first and wasn't planning on it this time either...LOL. My DD is 5 and I am only on age 2 of her photo albums...however, I was working two jobs and going to school up until last year, so  I like to blame it on that!
