Baptism etiquette

My BFF sent out the evite for her son's baptism. They invited a ton of people. They always do for similar events. In the response there wasn't a spot for a plus one and H wasn't on the list that I could find. He would normally be invited. Is there a tactful way I can ask about this? Would you assume it was an oversight or that he's not invited?

    what are they doing for the event?  restaurant?  is she is your BFF I would just ask her.. how can she invite you and not your souse-- must be an oversight unless she hates your spouse or something
