Oh my, thanks for the PSA! Luckily I have the Britax Marathon 70-G3 (looks like the only model that did NOT get recalled).

Phew. I bought mine in 2011. Also a good thing my son doesn't attempt to EAT his carseat.

OMG, I didn't even read what it was recalled for. I just checked if I had one of the models and don't, so I didn't read it. But seriously?!? O.o It's something to do with EATING the car seat?

Yes. Apparently the "new and improved" HUGS pads are too soft and kids can bite off pieces of them.

Just went & read it. Now I'm concerned because my son DOES actually chew on that rubber part sometimes. I wonder why the Marathon isn't effected? 

ETA: Just checked the manufacturer's date on my car seat. Was made in May, 2012! That must be just before they started making the new HUGS pads. :P

Probably because they didn't change the material in that model. The old material is fine, just the new stuff.
