Ok this weekend I noticed that DD's poops are getting smaller and rounder. I am worried that she could be getting constipated. I was very accustomed to breast milk poopy and it has never been this solid before.
Just wondering if I should do anything to prevent it from getting any harder. I know my sister had to feed her LO prune juice on daily basis. Just wondering what y'all are doing.
Re: avoiding constipation
Bananas, apples, bread and rice are sure ways to constipate a baby.
We haven't been doing any of those and she isn't constipated yet...she is still having regular BMs they just aren't quite as mushy as they once were...maybe that's just the new normal. I have no idea.
I think we may eat some peaches tonight with dinner just to be on the safe side.
This. I just make sure DS gets at least one serving for a "p" food each day. Also, giving your LO water with meals helps to keep things soft. My DS doesn't like water too much, but hopefully one day soon he'll drink it.

When Jackson has diarrhea, we do the BRAT diet...Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast. When he's constipated we do the complete opposite of the BRAT diet.

Mango is the best! My son squeeled with delight between bites the first time he had it.
I agree on the P foods as a help!
