As my boys get older and are starting to demand more stimulation, I am finding it difficult to keep them occupied during their up times. I'm a sahm so we have a full day and evening to fill and it's tough! Some of the things we do include tummy time/plat mat time, going for walks, going to the stores and mommy/baby chats and play. But some days i feel like i run out of ideas. They aren't quite ready for the exercausers/jumpers yet but we did just get one in hopes that they are soon. I'd love to hear some ideas on other things we can do to pass the time. I find it especially challenging with 2 because You constantly have to be "on" for both of them and sometimes 1 runs out of excitement for an activity a lot quicker than the other.

im glad I'm not alone!! One thing I forgot to add is that other than tummy time, most of what we do involves them lying on their backs (laying on a blanket etc). I am in a complete neurotic state of trying to keep them OFF their backs bc one LO has a bad flat spot (that is getting better) and the other just got over one. I just hate that everything we do involves them on the back of their heads. But I guess that's normal for this age- cant do much to prevent it u suppose.
I feel like they are already getting bored with tummy play may time. Glad you asked this question!
Same here!
I wear them a lot. I wear one on back, one on front, and we vacuum or mop. I make up songs. We talk to the dogs. They get naked time every afternoon and they love kicking their legs and wiggling without diapers and clothes.
I could have written this post too! My boys just turned 4 months, and I feel like I am running out of ideas and that we do the same thing everyday. It is hard to not be able to hold both at the same time.
My boys love the exercausers and bumbos, sometimes just need blankets to prop them up. They also love to lay on the floor with me and read books, sing songs. We go for walks or to a store to walk around. I signed them up for a local library story time too....that starts this week, at least another way to get out of the house. I wish I had more ideas for you, but I feel the same way as you! Good luck
