FYI: Bilibo is a lightning deal on amazon

I have been wanting a bilibo for a long time and Babycheapskate just posted it is a lightning deal right now!. LINKY! I think I read about it in a magazine originally. It has won all kinds of awards. It kinda looks like a crazy toy but supposedly kids love it and do all kinds of stuff with it. It is really cheap right now so I grabbed two - one for DD for Christmas and another for her cousin. Thought I'd share in case anyone else was thinking about getting one.

That looks... Weird. I totally thought it was for potty training at first. I'm sure it's fun though.

    LOL!

I guess it uses their imagination the same way a cardboard box does. Very versatile.

Ha! I have no idea how someone came up with the design but it is a seat, a hat, something to stand on - I don't know. I guess kids come up with all kinds of things to do with it. It is odd looking and I thought it was stupid at first but after reading about it I really wanted to get one!

  • Thanks!  I bought that with a Thomas fork and spoon set and got free shipping.  Two Xmas presents for DS down.  Now, I need to get a glass of water to wash down the words "I'm going to keep Christmas small this year."

  • It's a chair?
I think I'm confused as to the purpose
  • We have one- my mom got it for DS when he was 2ish. He does really like it and still uses it at 4. It is sorta nothing in particular, but kids do find all kinds of weird things to do with it. My DS loves to sit in it and spin himself around using his hands. It's certainly not a toy we couldn't live without, but it is definitely pretty cool.
  • My two love to spin each other in it, use it as a stool, put it on their backs and act like they're turtles and carry items in it. It's been a fun toy for us.

  • I totally expected this thread to be about Bilbo Baggins.  Reading fail.
  • My son LOVED his...bought it when he was not quite 2 and it lasted a good 4 years before he was done with it :-)
