Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Daylight savings and an 11 month old.

Is not as fun as I thought. Lol I knew she would wake up when she usually does 8am which today would really be 7am. I was just hoping somehow she would wake up and I'd see 8am on my phone lol

Re: Daylight savings and an 11 month old.

  • Ha! My DD usually wakes up around between 6:30 and 7 normally. On the weekends, I'm lucky to have her wake around 7 because DH doesn't wake her up by getting ready for work (her room is next door to our only bathroom). What time did she wake up today? 5:15am.

  • I would kill for 7am. DD usually gets up at 5 or 5:30. So guess what time my cell phone read for this am's wake up call. Sigh. Trying to get her back to sleep resulted in an absolutely hysterical kid that would not calm down for anything. This is only made worse today by the fact that we still have no power or heat!

  • oh dang I guess I got it good? lol I'm sorry I'd be even more annoyed with daylight savings if I were you guys. She usually wakes up anywhere from 8-9:30ish depending on what time she went to bed. Most of the time she lays in my bed and goes back to sleep.

And I'm so sorry about what you guys are going through with no heat or power. I really wish I could help.

  • hmmm, i just did my best to keep her up an hr later singing songs w me and she was up at her usual 7 at the new 7
  • I pushed his naps back an hour yesterday and he went to bed an hour later, so this morning he just woke up half an hour early...but we have a pretty easy going kid!  Happy sleep adjusting everyone!

  • It does stink. I get them pretty close to the new time as fast as I can. it only takes a few days to adjust- max a week for most kids.
