Shoe size for LO?

What size shoe does LO wear?

DH saw something for Skidderz and the website says for 12 months, up to 4.75 inches - size 4, for 18 months, up to 5.25 inches - size 6. DD's foot is right at 4.75. I am having trouble finding a store that carries them for her to try on. Would you get the 4 or the 6?

Any other recs? Thanks.

Are you talking about ones that have the rubber slipper attached to a sock?  I bought a pair online ahead of her size and they seem huge.  I think I read that they tend to run big.  I've seen a few designs at Target and our BBB has them as well.

ETA:  You can buy them online at Target for 12.99 and return to a local store if it doesn't work out.

I am at a complete loss when it comes to shoes-Ronin has only ever worn socks.  He's starting to pull himself up and stand more often, so I really should get him some shoes...the sizes really confuse me, though.  Thanks for the reminder that I have to get off my butt and get some! (Sorry I'm no help, though!)

Get the size 6, they run small.

If they are too big LO will trip, if they are too small LO can get blisters. That goes for length and width. I would go to a shoe store that can measure BOTH feet and then go from there. LO wasn't due for another fit until mid december but she already outgrew her current size. Maybe you can buy a sizer online? The one at the store we go to has a strap to pull over the top of the foot to put it flush against the sizer and help keep the toes from curling.

DS is a size 4.5 wide. He can wear some size 5. I'd go with the larger size.

Li is still in a size 1... I have to get crib shoes and take them to a shoemaker and have them soled because she is walking.
