Freaking out at bed time

DD has been a pretty good sleeper, but suddenly she does not want to go to bed at night. She sleeps in her crib great during the day, but flips her lid at bed time. Is she afraid of the dark? Is it just an attempt to manipulate us so she can stay up? Last night she didn't fall asleep until nearly 11 and it's driving me nuts.

We are on night 3 of going to bed after 930pm. It is crazy!!! I need him to go to bed by 8pm since he is still up for bottles at night. :
