Walking?

My son turned 11 months on the 1st. He started walking a few weeks ago, and was walking a decent amount of the time. Over the last few days he doesnt seem to want to walk anymore and crawls every where. He will sometimes walk when we stand him up but other times he throws a fit and goes limp, wont stand up and then just goes back to crawling. Has anyone else experienced this? Will he start walking on his own?

yes and yes. they sometimes do things in fits and spurts...it's like any developmental milestone, they get obsessed with it, get pretty good at it, then do something else for a while before going back to it...I've seen it with waving, clapping, words, sleep...especially sleep. *sigh*

he'll walk full time when he is ready :-)

yah, DD is same way, she takes a few steps to get away from us then throws herself to the ground crawling at mach 3 to get where she's going!
