I need you help!

My lo has the leappad and was looking to get the leappad2 for Christmas. Now I see the tablet by toysrus called the taboo.  What do you ladies and gents think I should do. Ditch the 2 and go with the taboo or get the 2? Just indecisive and need help making a decision?

While we don't have either yet I have been doing lots and lots of research on tablets and learning tablets for my lo for Christmas...

We're considering just getting a low end regular Android tablet and putting educational apps and games on it for DD to use. That way, we can use it for other things as well so it's a little more practical. The only downside is I guess the toy tablets are a little more childproof and harder for them to break. But, so far when DD has used a tablet she has been really careful with it.
