Going crazy! Could I be pregnant?

Okay, here's the deal. I have stage 4 endometriosis and have been under the care of doctors for a few years now. Due to a miscommunication with the pharmacy, I ended up being off of my birth control pill for about two and a half weeks. My husband and I had unprotected sex during that time and now I am experiencing all the typical symptoms of pregnancy (nausea/vomiting, ridiculously sore breasts, feeling of pressure in lower back, etc.) I took a pregnancy test but it was negative. But some people have said that it could be a false negative. Help! I just want to know what's really going on!

    Also, because of having been on birth control continuously (my doctor had me take the active pills continuously and not take the placebo pills) I do not get a period regularly (maybe once every few months). So I can't tell when I would be "late"

    Wait a week and test again.  A test is really the only way to find out at this point.
