Parent Profile Users: Talk to me about stats

Last night I figured out how to check the "stats," which is basically the breakdowns of the hits that your parent profile page gets. Some of them are really meaningless, like how many times you show up on a certain page, or how many times you showed up in a search.

However, some of the numbers seem to be for the actual traffic for you page, such as your Letter, About Us, Photo Album, and the Contact Us, sections. I was wondering if (A) they really mean anything at all, besides that someone clicked on that section, and (B) what is considered to be a lot of action for a page? Just wondering. We are going through an agency so I have know way of knowing (unless I call our CW) if the 19 hits on our "contact us" are people who actually contacted our agency, or if someone just randomly/accidentally clicked on that section. I know that 2 of them were me...just checking it out. LOL

And maybe that's a really low number for 4 days active? I have no clue, but I am definitely over thinking this, and need a sane person to talk me down off of this ledge. LOL

DH and I had first contact with our BM 2 days after activating on Parent Profiles but I had paid for extreme exposure..I stayed on for one month.  I had thousands of hits, and I agree with you, it probably doesn't mean much since we had tons of family and friends checking it out, or other adoptive couples comparing profiles.  However, the one thing that I really liked was "added to favorites."  This will only show up once someone has saved you as a favorite.  That was a good indication if a birth parent was considering placing with us.  Good luck!

Thanks so much for the info! I think that's a good point. I did get to see the "added to favorites" bar for the first time this AM, but who knows if it will be someone who will be a match for us. Keeping my fingers crossed though! PS you DD is too cute!! :-)
