Re: Feeding issue
This was about the time that Kellen showed more symptoms of silent reflux. She would latch on, suck for a bit, and then start screaming. It was horrible on both of us. Since she wasn't spitting up, my Pedi just thought it was gas so we tried gas drops and Gripe Water. We dealt with this for 2m until I finally went back to my Pedi and demanded there was something else wrong. She wasn't gaining much weight either and screamed pretty much every time she ate. She got an Rx for reflux and within the first dose it was a million times better.
I would just watch it a little bit longer but if it goes on for a week or more, I would for sure go in to see your Pedi.
I don't think it's from the shots. Most of the side effects of shots are with in the first 24-48 hours, I think our nurse said 72 hours is the outer limit of most reactions.
I'm with pp that it sounds possibly like silent reflux, we dealt with that too. Is it towards the end of the feeding? Mostly in the evenings/night? Does it improve if she is fed more upright (I used to have to nurse D with him almost sitting upright at this stage)?
