"Normal" me just before my BFP.
Rosie and I last year, once again looking more "normal".
My "work in progress". I'm getting it finished for my birthday.
This is just before my BFP with DD. However, I still totally dress this way.
So, essentially as you can plainly see, I get a wide variety of reactions out in public. More so when all of my tats are visible. I normally have some sort of facial piercing too, but I swell when pregnant so I took them out. DH wants me to get snake bites and my septum pierced. I told him he was nuts lol.
I get young comments a lot too. I would have a pic of me now, but that is too much work. My ball is comfy. So, there ya go!
Re: This is for you Gimmietimmies!
OMG! You are so cute! I feel old saying this, but you look a lot like DH's cousin (minus the tats, she's only 16 and daddy won't let her). I can see how you get mistaken for younger. That tat is going to be so nice when it's done. I'm such a wimp, I can't ever decide on one enough to commit it to skin. That, and I have a fear that if ds ever goes into kidney failure again, he'll need a kidney and I won't be allowed to donate. Even though I still want a tattoo. I'm with you on the septum. My bff had hers done, she ended up taking it out since it was a PITA.
Oh, and that last pic is very sweet, and I'm liking Rosie in the Batman onesie. S had a Superman one, but she's outgrown it, dammit. Alright, tit for tat, here's mine.
I told you it was awful. I never pose for pics.
Me either! I just try to make myself look not as fat as I think I look. KWIM? I am also not looking forward to getting the chest piece finished. It will be super painful, but worth it. This is just who I am. I know some people have issues with it, but they can ultimately suck it. I get tons of comments about them from a professional standpoint as well. I can successfully cover all of my tats and I have normal colored wigs for my hair. I'm a big believer in self expression.
Also, yeah I do look 16 at time. Meh.
Lastly, you don't look bad at all! The hat is really cute.
LOL, nothing wrong with who you are. Like a chameleon and a butterfly. You adapt. I was a hippy art major so I get self expression. I just need to do more of it myself (accounting does that to you).
Don't hate looking young. 10 years from now, you'll like it.
LOL, I'm in borrowed gear. L was mortified. And that was the only pic of me in the last 2 years. I'm the photog in the family.
I feel ya. I usually hate pics of myself and rarely take any. I was lucky enough to have these ones on hand. However, I've been spoiled job wise for the last few years. When I worked in the call center and the salon they never gave a crap about my looks. Now I'm home all the time. So I can be however I want to!
I'll like it much better when I stop getting the rude comments from people when I'm out with my kids. Though I've learned to enjoy some of them.
I bet being out is fun. You get your funny comments, I get mine (I do happen to know what causes so many kids, and yes, I know how to use birth control). I do, however, love to lose my filter, sweetly, and let loose. Why, mister, I DO know what causes so many kids. Lots of SEX! Fun, huh! It's even more priceless when I take out my nieces. Priceless.
Also bumping from phone so yeah, excuse my punctuation or lack there of.
None on my rib cage. However, I hear it is painful. Though the bit right on my sternum hurt pretty bad. I think of it this way though. I went through childbirth, it's much more painful to have a kid than a tattoo.
