    Hi there! I'm finally back! We were without power from Monday night when the storm hit land until yesterday, so I couldn't get on. We're safe, house is fine, and we're very lucky given the amount of devastation even a few miles from us. Thanks for checking up!

    No prob, I know people in the area through work, I started to get worried knowing what they're going through. My cousin is there too and I couldn't get in touch with her either. So far everyone is safe, but a work related buddy is out of touch, his building has no power still.

    Ugh! Hope the buddy is safe! For a few days we didn't even have phone service, although texts would sometimes go through. We don't know when schools will open back up here yet. We're hoping Monday but if this nor'easter knocks power back out it may be later.
