New to the posting thing!

Hi Everyone-in need of a little advice or personal experience.

(Sorry, I'm not good with the lingo so bear with me) My husband and I have been trying for a year now and have had two very early miscarriages. Today we went for my blood test and it came back at 40 so this is about 16 dpo ( we did TIC with ovidrel). going back to dr on monday for another test. i've read that this number is in a normal range but wanted to see if anyone else has started low like this and been successful? i would love any advice to calm the nerves haha thanks!

Re: New to the posting thing!

  • I don't know exact numbers, but my OB did a blood test on me with my last pregnancy at the first visit, and said my hormones were "low" and had us come back about a week later- I have a chunky happy toddler (well, today a chunky cranky toddler) to show that it all turned out ok!

  • Haha thanks for the help and uplifting comments. I know I shouldn't even worry until Monday when they check again since it really only matters that the double, but miscarriages seem to mess with the mind and so at this point it's just trying to stay positive!

  • Thank you all for your kind words. I wish I'd used one of these forums before! It's so nice to have people who are all going through similar situations or have been in the same spot. Makes it so much easier than trying to explain to someone who has never been pregnant before, haha. I go back on Monday for another beta so that will be 72 hours from the first beta. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good news!
  • FX for you! (((hugs)))

  • Going in the early AM for second beta testing! So thankful they'll call me by the end of the day, but nervous to know what this baby is going to decide to do!
