Clomid users---when in your cycle did you start taking it?

We just failed another au natural try so we're going to start on an oral med to help with ovulation. I would love to hear how it went for some of you. We're required to do this before something more high tech.

Me: 42, DH: 43. We are so grateful to have a 2yr old daughter, conceived naturally after 3 miscarriages & no treatments (our Dr. gave us 1 more month to try on our own before advacing to IVF, & we conceived her naturally in January 2010)! Trying since April 2011 without sucess....MD said we were both "fine" & that if it wasn't happening, it was a chromosomal issue. Finally started Follistim 225mcg injections with an Ovidrel trigger November 2012. Bleeding 11 days post Ovidrel on November 25th. Starting the whole lab/Ultrasound/Follistim cycle again on November 27th...

    We did it twice. It didn't help we got BFNs both times. I don't know if it did anything to my lining. I should say I believe I ovulate on my own and I am not sure it does much if you do. GL!
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    Clomid worked for me the first 2 times I took it BUT I had IUI's done so I can't say if it affected my lining or not. It didn't work the 3rd time & I'm currenly in my 2WW. Time will tell if it works the 4th.
