Betas and Progesterone Results

The nurse called with my first beta and progesterone results. For the beta, I'm only at 17, but I was 11 DPO when I had the blood drawn, so I'm not surprised or concerned. But my progesterone was 17.5 which my nurse said was awesome! I was only at 5.6 during my m/c pregnancy (and I think I recall reading that 5 was considered viable, so I was just barely there), so I feel great about that number. My Dr kept saying she thought the low progesterone was a result of a bad pregnancy, not a problem with me, so I guess she was right! Feeling much better and looking forward to a second beta draw on Monday.

    Great news! I'd been waiting on that update. FX for some good numbers on Monday as well!

    Thanks ladies! I am excited about my progesterone! The whole beta thing is harder for me bc I had doubling betas back in August and still proceeded to m/c a week later. I'll feel a lot better after we see a heart beat!

    Congratulations! I think that is a great progesterone #. With DS2 my P4 was only 6.4 and I had been on progesterone supps. :)

    Awesome news about your progesterone!  My beta on the same DPO was 14 -- everyone told me that what matters is for it to double.  Good luck on the second draw!!!!
