Ready for Monday?..minor vent..

 I took Friday-Sunday off of work  as tomorrow is my baby shower on the opposite side of the state. Yesterday  I was so happy and excited  as I left work.... Until my car wouldn't start. Not even turn over..    DH comes and we try to jump it for about 30 minutes..  Wont even turn still!  So then I was in a crappy mood all night,  went to bed at 9:30, but didn't sleep.  Had a terrible dream. (It was about the election, and who won the presidency..  And it wasnt either of any of the candidates.. weird dream.)

Okay so  now Its this morning.. I had to cancel another appointment  to fix my car (I was originally taking it to glass repair place to have a window replaced that is about to shatter out)..I called for a tow there wasn't even enough battery life for him to put the car in neutral.  after a few minutes with my husbands car again we were finally able to do that..   We get my car to the repair shop- $43 to tow the car about a mile.  Probably only half a mile.  Now the guy has called me, definitely needs a new battery   parts,labor,tax, $91...  Hes also testing the alternator/starter/etc because  from what I described and what he saw he thinks it was more then just a dead battery..

We were planning on taking my car this weekend because its bigger- Not a big deal. DH's car will be just fine.   I am praying that its just the battery because  there is no way we can afford for anything more then that! I'm so upset and tired and stressed that I'd be okay just staying  home and skipping the shower..

I'm sorry...cars always seem to break at the most inopportune moments...but definitely don't skip your shower..once you get there hopefully you'll be able to relax and enjoy yourself and put this whole mess behind you at least for a little while...

I don't plan on skipping the shower..  Its just so frustrating!!!!! and it seems like car issues are always so much money!
