Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Long Naps are a thing of yesterday....sigh

I have a 10 month old, and he takes the shortest naps now. Before he would give me at least 2 hours each nap, not anymore! It sucks, because I really take advantage of his nap time to work ( I work from home). Anyone else's 10-12 month old having a similar issue with their naps?

  • DD never took long naps, so sadly I don't know what it's like to have a 2-hour break during the day, lol!  But she's starting to drop to 1 nap, and she can't figure out which one she wants to drop (morning or afternoon).  It seems to change each day.

This!My LO is not even 10 months old. She's had 2 naps a day, usually 2 hrs total. However, in the last week or so, she only slept 1-1.5 hr total.

Yesterday, she only had one nap.Yikes.BUT she sleeps an hr longer in the morning.

That's funny, my DD is also starting to sleep a little later in the morning.  She used to wake close to 6, but now she's sleeping until 7 or later.  And what do you know... today she actually took a 2 hour nap!!!  Just when I think I've figured out her schedule (not that I'm complaining)
