I got a library card today, and asked if they had an Adoption Month display for this month. The guy said no, even though an adoption support group meets there monthly

A little late now, but I'm going to lobby them next year to at least have a few titles out.

I don't think that it is too late for them to put one up this November!  It is only the 2nd.  Maybe ask to speak to the head librian- is that the right title?

Anyway, kudos to you for not just being annoyed but trying to do something about it- even if it is for next year!

Dr. Loretta - I'm guessing the librarians have no idea it is National Adoption Month, even though that group meets there every week.  Hell, I work in a library (albeit an academic library), and I'm in the adoption world and I didn't know it was National Adoption Month until you posted about it yesterday.    I'm sure they'd love to hear your idea for the display, especially if you can get the adoption group to mention it to them, as well.
