It is starting to get very cold here where I live and DD is not comfy in the Ergo with her one piece coat. I need some suggestions/recommendations please.

Ergo makes a winter fleece cover to go over their carriers. I just bought one and used it at the Zoo last weekend. It worked great LO was nice and toasty. I got it from a local baby wearing store for 40, but seen it on Amazon for the same price.
I still have the maternity coat I wore during my pregnancy last winter, and when I wear DD in the ergo, I just zip it up around both of us! Keeps us both nice and snug
Jolly Jumper makes a nice bunting bag/cover type thing that goes over all carriers. I just bought one, it goes over my bjorn, the infantino, the stroller and the car seat. Super warm with pockets for me.
For a baby who isn't going to be getting down, I prefer a babywearing coat - the Kindercoat is easiest to find. Or you can just use a big coat wrapped around both of you. There are also babywearing vests like the peekaru, kindervest, and I think Togetherbe has one now too.
I just bought one of these.. https://www.rainorshinekids.com/cold.php babysteals had them a few days ago for half off so keep checking and maybe one will show up in their archive or on kidcrawl.com
