Wine O Mite

**Just to add, in case anyone wasn't reading the prior posts about this GTG, it was voted that this is a kid-free event (which I realize sounds pretty sh!tty coming from me, but I swear it wasn't my choice).**

Over Easy is good but I don't think they take resos (right?) and are usually quite packed on Sundays. Then again, anything will be packed for brunch on the weekend in those neighborhoods. There's also Marmalade, which will be busy, too, but I'm pretty sure it's BYOB. Umm, not brunch-y but there's a good Mexican place on Western (Los Nopales) that's BYOB.

Ok, back to the drawing board.  I'll just find a place that has reservations and yummy food.

Both of those places don't take reservations, but they are BYOB.  I would prefer a reservation, mostly if we are going to have 7-8 people.

I'm a creepy mostly-lurker so I'm not attending but I thought I'd recommend Fork in Lincoln Square https://forkchicago.net/.

They take reservations, there is a pay-to-park lot nearby and the food is most delish.

Wine O it was me who mentioned Fork before.  My old landlord actually owns the place and he's pretty cool, his name is David.   Awesome food, a little pricey but nothing terrible and I've never had a bad dish there yet.

Tell your DH your are going out to meet your Bump buddies. Mine thought I was wierd as well but then I said look these ladies are going thru the same stuff as me right now so it's nice to have someone to connect with. Making friends as an adult is hard so tell him it's just another way to connnect with people. I've only met two of the ladies coming this time before now (Scout and Quiddich) one other time but everybody was awesome and it was well worth putthing yourself out there for. Come along and join us we don't bit.

I have no kids and I hang out on a parenting website...think how that conversation went over with my H.  Ha. He was actually fine with it though.  And I met Irish and I'm still alive.

Fork is pretty busy on the weekend, so it would be really hard to do that without a lot of witnesses. So speaking for myself, no plans to murder.

I have been on the Bump since it was the Nest Baby, so he's pretty used to it.  I just don't have much time to post a ton.  I'll talk to him tonight.  He isn't crazy controlling or anything, he is just nervous about me going so far by myself to meet strangers.  I can't really say that I blame him I guess.
