Stupid technology

This is frustrating as can be. Bought a new laptop Sunday evening brought it home it worked fine. Monday it also worked fine, but now it turns on but the screen stays black! This is so frustrating. It was the last one on display so got a good deal...but now have to return it to get a new one AGAIN! Technology is more frustrating than helpful at times!
