daycare success

DD started her 1st day of school today and it went great!  She had been with a SAHM until May, and home with me during the summers and since May.  She was very clingy the 1st 10 min, then saw a boy sit down for his cherrios, she wanted some too so she sat down and I told her I was taking DS to the baby class.  I got a hug and kiss!  I'm so glad I didn't have to sneak out.  As I left the teacher was asking one of the front desk girls to come help, apparently she decided she wanted her Rapunzel costume and wig on.  She was so excited to show me the picture she made, she had 2nds during lunch, and even took a nap!  She never asked out us.  I knew she'd like school, but I was still nervous about how she'd be when I actually left.  I hope it goes this smoothly when we have to start early and do a quicker drop off.
