WWYD? visiting family

So my 20 year old college going numskull of a brother ignore a cough for a month and got pneumonia. He came home last Friday for some mommy take care of me. He was better by Monday [ took antibotics ] and went back to school yesterday. I talked to my mom yesterday and she said no one was sick and that she was cleaning the house and going to air it out today. I really want to take em and W over to see her tonight. I haven't seen my mom since she brought em back home from W birth. I told her we would come see her tonight. My DH thinks its too soon after being exposed to a possible illness that can cause pneumonia to expose either of them. I think it would be fine for a short visit to show off W and em all dressed up for Halloween. I have been missing my mom really bad since W was born. And having to see his mom every effing day is making it worse. [ his mom is helping us get moved in] I just don't know until he said he didn't think it was a good idea I was excited to see my mom. Now I am torn as to weather or not to go. She just sent me a text saying she was making stew for dinner if we wanted to join them. And I need to figure out if we are going to go or not before I answer her.

So what would you ladies do? Go over or stay home and visit maybe this weekend?

If it were me I wouldn't go. Pneumonia is serious stuff to an infant. I wouldn't risk it.

I would call your pedi and ask. I don't know how long the bacteria or virus hang around on surfaces.

I had just my mom come over last night for an hour or so. It fixed me cry ever 2 hours because I was missing her and I really don't think she got sick from my boneheaded brother. He has visited at least 2 time while he had the cough and neither time did she get sick. But at least this way I got to see her and I didn't have to risk being in the sick house. [ least amount of risk]
