Hello - intro

I am making my way over here from the Miscarriage and Loss board. I had my d&c last Friday, so the loss is still new.

I do know that DH and I will likely try again as soon as possible, so I thought I'd say hello here and start following some threads. We'll be waiting for that first visit from AF. Tick tock.

The grief comes and goes, so we'll see how resolved we'll be as we go through those stages.

I think getting through the holidays is going to be the hardest part. We were planning to announce our pregnancy on Thanksgiving. Now, we're going on vacation just the two of us for Thanksgiving. Christmas will likely be a little bittersweet.

    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    Welcome to the board. I'm so sorry for your loss. I definitely had those waves of grief too, it's very hard and I definitely anticipate the holidays being bittersweet too(we were also going to announce our first around Thanksgiving). I've found this board to be full of hope and love being on this side where everyone is willing to try again and hopeful that we'll get our take home and rainbow babies. I hope you enjoy your stay here, but that it's a short one.
