    1. I'm Kristen. I have a DS that is 2 1/2 and he is so much fun. I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have had 2 losses, one before DS and one in August. Hoping for my sticky baby.
    2. My milestone will be 7 1/2 weeks since I had losses earlier than that. I will feel like this pregnancy is more real after my 1st appointment.
    3. My 1st appointment isn't until November 15. Can't wait!

     1. please introduce yourself!

I'm Behapy! DH and I have been married since April 2009,  and TTC since May 2011. We've had a bumpy road so far (see siggy), but are hopeful that this pregnancy will lead to a healthy, happy baby!

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy?

The anxiety that comes with making it past my loss dates.

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one?

I've had weekly appts and u/s since my BFP. I have my next appt tomorrow which should be my last with the RE. After that, I have my first appt with the new OB on the 7th.

He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

    1. I'm Sammer. I've been married to DH since Sep 06 and TTC since April 10. We've had 4 losses previous to this BFP.

    2. So far, it's giving myself shots of Lovenox and trying not to analyze the TP every time I go to the bathroom. It's so emotional to go through a pregnancy after a loss.

    3. No appointments yet :( My first ultrasound will be Monday and I will be about 7 1/2 weeks.

    TTC since April 2010
    BFP #1 – March 2011, missed m/c April 2011

    BFP #4 – June 2012, m/c July 2012
Diagnosed with bicornuate ute and MTHR gene mutation
    BFP #5 – October 2012, missed m/c November 2012
    BFP #6 – January 2013, m/c March 2013
No longer TTC. Diagnosis: Hostile ute. Heartbroken and bitter. Pursuing surrogacy.

    1. please introduce yourself!
Hi fellow June mamas!  This is my second pregnancy after losing our first one in early July @ 9 1/2 weeks.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy?
Right now, it's the loss of symptoms that is really making me go nuts.  This is exactly what happened the last time and it's hard not to get worked up over it.  I just keep trying to remind myself that this is NOT the same pregnancy.

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one?
I have had betas done and they were great.  My first appointment isn't until November 21.  I may sound crazy, but I pushed off the first appt & u/s as much as they would let me.  We had a great first appointment last time - saw the heartbeat and everything - and then lost the baby a few weeks later.

    1. please introduce yourself!  Hello ladies! This is my third BFP this year. It has been quite a journey for us TTC (see siggy).
    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy? Right now is definitely the biggest hurdle. I went for betas and progesterone testing last Wed and Friday. My doctor was pleased with the numbers on Wednesday and said he would call me Friday or Monday with the results from the test Friday. When my doc didn't call on Friday, I convinced the nurse to give me the numbers. My progesterone stayed the same, but the betas dropped from 500 to 492. I didn't hear from the doctor all weekend and when I called Monday, I was told that the office would not open until Wednesday (weather permitting) because of the hurricane here. I am still waiting for the doctor to call me. I am trying my best to remain hopeful and patient, but it is definitely tough!
    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one? I have no idea what the doctor will want to do next....I am praying that he will call soon.

    1. I'm Jen and I've had four losses prior to this.

    2. The hardest part is preparing mentally for my weekly ultrasounds, as I usually have missed miscarriages after seeing a heartbeat. (Also my morning/noon/night sickness has kicked in full gear.)

    3. I have weekly u/s - have had two so far. Tomorrow morning will be my 3rd at 7 weeks.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy? Already passed my loss milestone, so the two biggies left to go are to get good odds for Downs Syndrome (my sons came back at 1:10, he doesn't have it) and to hopefully NOT develop Pre-E like last time.
    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one? I've had one docs appt (pg confirmation) and an u/s.  The u/s showed everything looking perfect for that gestation AND there was a hb!  I have my 8 week appt on Friday.

    1. I'm Luthy. DH and I have been TTC since December 2011. We had a miscarriage in May at 9 weeks and are finally pregnant again.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy? At 5 weeks and change I had intense cramping and a rush of red blood. We were absolutely, completely, 100% sure we were out. Turns out it was a burst cyst and we saw the heartbeat! Now I'm waiting to make it past the loss milestone... just a couple more weeks. Right now I'm super stressed because I'm having weird cramping that feels just like the cramping that led me to go in for the u/s that diagnosed my missed miscarriage... no blood this time though, so that's good. But I'm so stressed out.

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one? I've had several blood draws, been to the ER, and had one ultrasound at my regular OB office. I have an appointment with the nurse Tuesday and one with the doctor a few weeks after. I don't have any more ultrasounds scheduled at the moment and it's killing me that I won't know whether the baby's ok in there for a month or more.

    1. Hi I'm meow! DH and found out I was KU in August 2012 and then at the end of the month, I had a natural miscarriage. I was 6w5d but the ultra sound measured a week behind, with a heart beat, and betas matched a 5 week pregnancy. I got my BFP this Oct and should be due on 6/29. So I might actually get bumped to July!
    2. The hardest thing for me is the spotting. It won't go away! It makes me so worried. Lucky, my office is sensitive and proactive to what I need and they do everything they can to make sure things are ok. I was able to get back some great betas that made me sooo happy! And an ultra sound that showed the tiny peanut in the right place in my ute! My progesterone took a dip so now I'm on the pills. I'm trying not to freak out but it's hard.
    3. My 1st apt is this tues even though I already had a ton of out patient stuff done! It's a nurse visit where they go over the dos and donts and what to expect what to do for an emergency etc.

I have been stuck with no power from sandy and it looks like its going to remain that way for days. I'm hoping I can keep my apt! Not sure if my office has power no one else does!

    1. I'm Kacy, and this is our second pregnancy this year. We lost our first in January at 12 weeks. It was a roller-coaster ride from the beginning, so I'm just trying to stay as calm as possible this time around.

    2. Right now, I'm really, really sick. I'm throwing up every day, sometimes all day. It's been tough having to work more-than full time and continue to function outside of work, especially since no one knows that I am pregnant. I'm thankful for the symptoms, and have tried to keep my sense of humor through it all, but it is honestly hard. My progesterone was also lower than I or the doctor would have liked, so I'm now on supplements, and I really hope they help. I'm hoping that once we get past our loss milestone I'll finally be able to get excited about being pregnant again, because that's been tough as well.

    3. We had our first ultrasound in the fifth week, thanks to an ectopic scare. (It was just a ruptured cyst, thankfully.) We saw a gestational sac and yolk sac then. When we went back for a repeat ultrasound the next week, we had a baby and a heartbeat. (Complete with a lovely tail. Ha.) My first appointment with my OB is Nov. 7, and thankfully she likes to do an ultrasound in the office as well, so I'm just praying we'll still see a heartbeat.

Good luck to all of the June ladies ... I'm thinking about you, and hoping you all have take-home babies!

    photo AlbumsWideColorBump_zps1797df63.jpg

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

    Thanks for the check in!!!!

      1. please introduce yourself!  this is my 3rd pregnancy - we lost our little girl at 26 weeks in July.  We have a DS that will be two in Dec and a 9 yr old SS.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy? Remembering that this is not the same pregnancy I lost.  My co-worker has had 3 losses and we both got our BFP at the same time this time!  She lost her's last week, so I'm freaking out a little and hope that this will be my rainbow baby.  Also scared that our loss was our only chance at a baby girl (my DH has 2 other boys, and then we have our boy - so LOTS of boys!).

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one? First appt is Friday!!!  Don't know when I will have my first ultrasound yet (but i took a peak at work and saw a tiny blob with a heartbeat! yikes!)

    1. please introduce yourself!

I'm Grace.  I've been married a loooooong time (it was the 90s, a very fashionable decade). We have a son in elementary school. Had a loss last year that wasn't discovered until 10 weeks, then after a miscarriage that went on and on and on, finally had a D&C at almost 15 weeks. Tried again on an off, even did a few rounds of Clomid, but we are the ultimate cliche who got pregnant when we relaxed and stopped stressing it, totally unmedicated.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy?

My loss was discovered at 10 weeks, although I suspected about a week before. I really hope I get there. I think 12 weeks is the point where I'll be able to breathe.

The biggest hurdle is still my brain. I'm not really letting myself go and bonding with the potential baby. I think I'll probably feel better once I'm in 2nd tri. At least, I hope that's the case. I'm staying positive though.

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one

I've had 2! Both with ultrasounds. Both went well. Next up is the BUN study in a couple of weeks.

    1. please introduce yourself!

I'm Emily. We have been married for 2 and a half years and we have 2 labrador retrievers who are our babies :) I'm a school teacher and my husband is an insurance adjuster. I've had two mmc, no fetal pole developed either time. Since then I've been dx with compound heterozygous MTHFR. I'm currently 6w3d and my first appointment is Friday where I'm assuming I will have an ultrasound done. (Scary!!) I'm on Lovenox, Deplin, baby aspirin, progesterone, and a prenatal.

    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy?

It will be Friday and seeing whether or not there is a fetal pole.

    3.  have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one

I have had blood drawn once to confirm pregnancy and to teach me how to inject the Lovenox. My first appointment is Friday.

EVERYTHING!  I am an emotional wreck, haha.  Spotting for weeks 5-7, getting to first u/s and now just trying to get through the first tri.  Also biggest hurdle is avoiding some friends who won't leave me alone b/c they know about previous losses and are continuously checking up on me - which is nice, but makes hiding this until week 12 a lot harder!

    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one? 1st appointment was at 7 weeks, 1 day.  Next appointment is tomorrow!!!!  for 9 weeks, 2 days, can't wait.  praying that I still have a healthy, strong heartbeat.

So glad to meet all of you....

    1. I'm raashton.

    2. The biggest hurdle so far has been the waiting for an appointment with my doctor. Well, that and the lack of womb window.

    3. My official appointment with ultrasound is Nov. 29. I will be 11 (YES!) weeks. I am very irritated because I think the scheduler just threw me into the first open slot on her screen.  I've been bugging them by calling and asking if there were any cancellations.  Sadly, not yet.

    1. Hi, I'm Dandelion.  My DH and I are hoping that we will be taking this baby home in June!  He or she will be our first child. I had a loss in March at about eight weeks.  It has been a rough road, but I am both thrilled and feeling cautious to be here!  We are waiting a few weeks longer to tell our families...so that we can be as excited as they will be.

    2.  I think that it will be difficult for me when I am released from my RE next week. I've been fortunate to have weekly ultrasounds since five weeks. I am so happy to have reached this milestone, but I do think that it will cause some anxiety not being able to have appointments as often.

     3. I had an appointment this morning.  Everything looks good and we have another awesome picture to add to the collection!  Next Wednesday will be my last with my RE, then I have a first appointment with the nurse at my new OB next Friday.

With my sons pregnancy the first time I got a chance to see his HB was at 11.5w.  I'd had an ER u/s at 6w, but there was no hb yet.  If you need an ear that understands how hard it is to wait that long while PgAL, give me a shout.  I know I struggled with ladies a month and a half behind me seeing their LOs hb while I didn't know if my son had one yet.  I really hope the next month flies by for you.

    1. please introduce yourself!
I'm JB... I'm 26 and DH is 29. Long story short, I was told that I had a few conditions that would cause infertility and I have been anovulatory since I went off BC back in early 2011. My first pregnancy was back in July and I conceived on Clomid. When I experienced my early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy (~5 wks) on Aug. 4, my DH and I had already decided we did not want to do Clomid again for awhile so I went back to my anovulatory state... or so I thought. After I had what I thought was the flu for over a week I finally POAS and got a very strong immediate positive. I was charting but both of my temp rises corresponded to the day with two different meds I went on that I thought caused the temp changes. I finally went for my dating u/s yesterday and they dated it as 7w6d (so 8 weeks today!). BD-wise I think they are a few days off but I'll just go with their due date of June 12th!!!
    2. what is/was the biggest hurdle of this pregnancy?
Waiting for the dating ultrasound to see if there was a hb-- and there was!! Thankfully, because June Bug is a little surprise miracle, I did not have to go through my loss milestone because I didn't even know I was pg until I was almost 7 wks pg!
    3. have you had an appointment yet? When is your next one?
I have not yet met with my midwife but I had the dating u/s yesterday. I meet with my naturopathy tomorrow and my first appt with my midwife is next Wed. on Nov. 7th!
