I had a followup a/s today and my cervix was gone. Got sent to l&d and I'm 4cm 50 effaced, Please pray I don't dilate more. I am now on hospital bedrest.

Cameron Jacob (CJ) came early @ 25w4d on November 16, 2012 due to placenta abruption and incompetent cervix . Weighing 1lb 15.5oz, 14 inches long.

    My super all about me birth story:
    Then: Fraternal twins born at 26 weeks in 1983. Me: 640 grams. Brother: 840 grams. Family kept watch in the NICU for 5 months before being allowed to go home. On oxygen for a year and a half after being released.
    Now: Me: PhD student and married. Brother: Lawyer and married.
    Dad's wedding speech: Thank you to all the family who stood watch and prayed for our children's survival. Well now the little scrawny chicken is married. Who would've thought? (Thanks dad for making me laugh and cry at the same time).

    Together since April 2004.  Married since June 19th, 2010.
     BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP. 
     BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13. 
     BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15.  MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14,

    Oh goodness, honey, you and your LO are definitely, definitely in my T&P.  I hope that LO stays put for many more weeks.

    I'm local so pleeeeeeease let me know how I can help.  If you'd like to PM me with which hospital you are at I would be more than happy to come and bring food or just hang out with you for company or whatever it is that you need/want.  I'm so sorry this is happening, and I hope you are able to keep cooking that LO for many more weeks. 

    Same here!  Also, just wanted to mention that one of my best friends had something very similar happen last year.  She spent two months on hospital bed rest, and gave birth to her son at 34 weeks.  And now he's over a year old and doing just great!  Keep cooking, baby!

    *Formerly peainthepod?* TTC since 1/1/2006. All cycles BFN! IUI's & IVF with no luck. Emergency surgery 11/07 due to hemmoraging cyst on left ovary. 3rd HSG showed complete blockage of right tube (the good side), endo/cysts/adhesion removal 11/11. New start for 2012! Surprise BFP 6/17/12, due 2/12/13. It's a boy!!! Baby Boy born on January 26, 2013.

    One of my good friend's had a similar experience and was on hospital bedrest for 9 weeks. She had her son at 36 weeks and he just turned 2! Quite a mischievous little boy, too!!

    I said a prayer for you!  Please keep us updated.

    And to the local PP, ya'll are very sweet! 

    We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.  

    We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

    I'll be thinking about you.  I really hope that your baby can stay in there a while longer.  Hopefully the hospital bed rest will help.  Try not to feel stressed- you keeping a positive attitude will help your body to relax so that you can try to keep that munchkin inside.
