1) I have not had a phone at work since Thursday....

2) First snow of the year...nothing is sticking so yeah!

3) Ky was up at 5 and wanted me to snuggle her so I brought her into my bed which resulted in her going back to sleep with all elbows and knees in my back *yawn*

4) I am hoping all of the yucky weather stops by trick or treat time.

5) I made 2 batches of rice krispie treats and a huge batch of puppy chow. I sent a tray to work with my mom and I brought one in to my work.

6) I want to bake cupcakes or cookies (I have the cutest Halloween cookie cutters) but I am not sure I will have time tonight.

7) I have a ton of unread books on my Kin.dle and cannot remember what ANY of them are about so it is like hit or miss with genre when I pick a new one to read.

8) A co-worker is getting married tomorrow and we ordered a small cake to celebrate. I have to remember to get up early tomorrow to pick it up and get to work before her so it can be set up on her desk.

9) I took my polish off last night and did everything for a mani/pedi except put new polish on. Good thing it is no longer snadal weather or I would be appalled to have bare toes!

10) My office is freezing.

1.  Sorry I have been MIA lately.  I have been reading just not posting much.  
2. Things are better with dw.  We are in therapy and are working through things.  It has not been pretty but things are getting better.  
3. It is going to take a long time to get there but it seems like we are going to end up in a better place.
4. I am home again with E.  She is in a really pissy stage right now.  It needs to end.
5. I want to buy Ella a ridiculously expensive dress for Christmas.  I need to get a grip.  Perhaps I will make us go to church so she can wear the dress.
6. DW has actually stated that she wants to go to church.  She grew up not having any religion really and I was raised a unitarian.  We need to look at some churches around here.  The logical choice would be the UU church in our town but I am trying to figure out if it would be strange to go to church with kids I teach and their parents.  THoughts?
7. E is refusing to wear anything but a princess dress for the last 3 days.  We are going to have an interesting morning tomorrow when she has to go to school.
8. I bought a slightly ridiculous princess costume off etsy for her.  My theory was go big or go home.  I looked for one in stores but they were all crap.  THis dress is amazing.  Fully lined with a crinoline built in for extra fluff.  She loves it and we have had to hide it on her so that she doesn't ruin it before halloween.  She is in her cheap target one now.
9. The cheap one does not really fit her and i finally convinced her that she had to wear a shirt under it.  She now looks more like a princess and less like a slutty bar maid.
10. I need to get a picture of Ella shooting baskets with her princess dress on.  It really is a funny combo.
11. Bonus wish me luck in getting her out of the costume so that we can go get a pumpkin to carve.

Ssg it's really nice to see you back!

1.  My thoughts are with anyone on the east coast as I watch CNN this morning instead of Good morning America.

2.  It's cold in the mornings, like January cold.  I don't know how I feel about it yet.

3.  Our first baby shower is this weekend and I am a little nervous.  It's a really long drive and my comfort level is quickly taking a dive.  Very thankful to my family for hosting this for us!

4. I am having a garage sale not this weekend but next.  I have been finding more and more things in the house that can go.  I think M is very shocked by how much I have found.  Her only rule is she get's to go through it before it hits the driveway.

5.  My furbabies are becoming increasingly clingy to me as the weeks go on.  Normally they sleep on M's side of the bed as there is more room and it's closer to the door but the last couple of weeks they are glued to my side.  They even follow me to the restroom at 2am.  It's sweet but I am tired of tripping over dogs half asleep. 

6. I miss my wine!  I know I can have glass here or there but I figure I can hold out a little longer as these guys will be here before we know it. 

7.  Work announced today instead of holiday bonuses or a holiday party, they are giving us December 21st and 26th off.  This gives us a 6 day holiday with only one day to work then back to a 5 day weekend.  I will be taking that one day off.  8 hours of PTO to get 12 days off = Score!

8.  I'm exhausted

9.  Is it sad I want to go trick or treating with my niece and nephew so I can steal candy as we walk, even though I shouldn't be walking that much?  M said it's a no go and she will buy me a bag of candy. 

10.  My brain doesn't want to work today so phone calls for work should be interested!

1. Apple's has been clingy lately, this has come with lots of hugs, kisses, and cuddles for me so I'm not complaining.

2. We got a call yesterday that J's dog is at an animal hospital, he has been getting out through a hole in the fence so I hope he didn't get hit by a car. He is super old and has horrible arthritis and really needs to be put down, I hope J will make the best decision for him when she finds out why he is there.

3. Owl has her followup evals in a week, they will determine whether or not the girls stay or get moved, I hope she has an exceptional day that day.

4. Alila now says she wants to be a vet/scientist when she grows up, I am doing all I can to foster her love of science.

5. Owl works herself up when she has to eat so that she swallows air and throws up, our pedi says it's a way of dealing with her trauma but oh man is it gross.

6. J says she wants me to have some time to myself once a week while she stays with the kids, I wonder how long this will last.

7. I need a dishwasher.

8. I want to make simple quilts for all of the girls for Christmas but don't have any time, can't there be another hour in the day?

9. I plan to use our back lot as a giant garden, now I need to rent a tiller to dig it up.

10. We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year, should be interesting.

Um yes please! I do not remember if we just did not do one last year or if I just did not participate....but I loved it the year prior!

1. What I've heard about Sandy is scary! I hope all my friends on the East Coast are safe and dry.

2. I attended a birth of a 10lb baby girl yesterday. The mama rocked it with a less than 12 hour, unmedicated first birth.

3. Yesterday I took a long nap after getting home to make up for the night of no sleep, but woke up early enough to sleep last night. Regardless, I'm still tired today.

4. I'm teaching a CBE series tonight with only 4 couples. Small and close to my house is how I like it!

5. No I really need to focus on my new PT job. I have two meetings this week (one at the office 10min away and one by phone). I also need to write myself a project time line before the one tomorrow morning.

6. C and I have been having a date night by having dinner before our Thursday classes. I'm hoping to add in another one now that I'm off call for a few weeks. We have a bunch of online deals to use, so it sorta feels "free."

7. I just finished a (YA) novel last night that I enjoyed. Now I need to figure out what to read next.

8. We bought a dresser for the guest room AKA future nursery. Now we need to assemble it and move the old dresser out.

9. I've been drinking a lot of tea and eating a lot of oatmeal. Also, knitting and watching Down.ton Abbey. I feel old; in a good way.

10. THREE WEEKS!

1. I'm home sick today.

2. One of my dogs is limping, but I think she's doing it for attention.

3. She's a major drama queen.

4. Baby S is at daycare, so I'm really living it up!  Watching tv, bumping, FB, eating Halloween candy, etc.

5. I'm struggling with what to do about Christmas stockings.  I want our family to have matching ones, but 1. I can't find any that I love and 2. how many should I buy? There are three of us right now, but next year there could be 6 or something!  and forget about putting our names on them... Baby S may or may not be here forever and if he's here- his name won't be Baby S!

6. I'm SO excited for Christmas this year! I'm trying to figure out how to do Santa. I think we'll go by the rule of four: something to wear, read, want, and need; all from Santa.  Or should that be from us? and a toy from Santa? How do you do Santa?

7. What about gifts for Big Sister and her little sister? One thing each from Baby S would be okay, right? And something from us, or is that too much? Their family is def not in the same financial place we are, so I don't want there to be any weird feelings.

8. Somebody tell me how to get this kid to STTN.  Puh-leeeeease. Or- more than 4 hours.  Even 6 would feel like a full night. 

9.  This baby goes through phases where he makes one weird sound.  First he pulled in his cheeks like he ate something sour and did a whistling through his teeth kinda thing.  For about a month, that's the only sound he made!  Then he started growling for about two weeks, then took two weeks off.  Then he began screaming.  Totally happy, utterly miserable- same sound. Now he's growling again, screaming occasionally, and blowing raspberries.

1) my mom is here for halloween visiting YAY !

2) i just sent my mom and my Uncle  to the park with the girls ... Im a nervous wreck!

3) so excited for halloween. We are doing a open house with chili and corn bread and lots of sweet treats.

4)  SO GOOD TO READ YOU SSG !!!!!

5) so happy we keep meeting amazing LGBT families and making friends

6) have no idea what to dress up as tomorrow... we were going to be farmers but finding overalls has been very difficult and they are not cheap

7) trying to sell some of the girls stuff its kind of been a bit tedious

8) work has been so slow SO SLOW makes me worried and now more so with the storm 

9) just got the 1st picture kids are still alive -

1. I am very thankful that we escaped the hurricane virtually unscathed. We never lost power and just have a roof leak that can be repaired.

2. I am home today. L is teleworking. I am a childcare.

3.  I am glad SSG posted again, I have been thinking a lot about her/her family.

4. I slept on an air mattress with Gray last night. Needless to say, I am tired. I miss the kids taking naps.

5. Looks like trick or treating is on. Though it is going to be chilly. Oh, well, the kids won't care.

6. I think I have put the house mostly back together. It looked like a hurricane happened outside and a tornado happened inside.

7.  I started this 10 hrs ago and left it open and never finished.

8. It is almost the kids' bedtime. YAY!

9. We have a busy few weekends coming up. Good. I would rather have busy weekends than weekends when I am wondering what to do with the kids for 72 hrs.

10. I need to go call L's mom and plan Thanksgiving.

1. I rarely participate in the TTT, I think its time I start.

2. A had her 18 week appointment today, all looks well.

3. I think my dog is sick, she isnt acting like herself

4. I've only known Im having a son for a week and a half now and I cant stop buying things for him....is there a 12 step program for this?

5. My school work load this week is out of control....I want to tell my professor to F off....but Im pretty sure that will score me a failing grade.

6. Is anyone else watching The Voice...I love it!

7. I bought a bumbo seat today!!! yay

8. We discussed circumsition (sp) today at the dr's office....Im on the fence about this!

9. I lost 6lbs on my diet last week, Im pretty excited about that. Im carrying about 40 extra pounds Im not proud of right now.

10. I asked my boss for a raise today.....ugh!

6. K and I went to a playgroup on Monday there were 15 babies under 10 months wearing Halloween costumes so cute. So loud!!!
7. Time is flying by its kind of scary how fast.
8. Wish I could stay up and watch tv but I know I need to get sleep in case he's up sooner rather than later.
9. Had our first poo in the tub accident today sorry gross so started all over equals super clean baby.
10. I don't post much but I so love this board.

1.  This is so late that it has become TTW.

2.  Welcome back SSG.  Glad to hear you are at least doing ok.

3.  We had E home the last two days. We found out yesterday that the fever was likely just teeth, and his ear infection is totally gone - yahoo!

4.  Last week we got legally married in Iowa four years after our big committment ceremony here in Madison.  Legal feels good.  Now - for the rest of the states...

5.  We stayed up way too late cooking and cleaning last night. When will we catch up on sleep?

6.  Glad to hear bumpies are mostly ok after Sandy.

7.  If I ignore them, will the holidays go away?

8.  I could so sleep at my desk.

9.  Oh, and our basement drain backed up again - what is up with that?!

10.  To end on a less whiny note - I so appreciate this board and how we all support each other.  

11.  Rumor has it there will be a dress code at work.  Seriously?
