I don't think we are going to get much more than some strong wind here (forecast says 50-70kph today) but it already looks like it's clearing up. How is everyone doing out there?

The crazy wind can do enough damage even without the other stuff. A friend of mine in Toronto posted on FB about a person being killed by flying debris near him yesterday.
I am having a crazy headache because of the weather. Other than that, walking Shadow this morning was hazardous. And we lost power a few times last night. Nothing wild and serious. I hope it stays this way. I am nervous about this one.
Same for us, power stayed in and it wasn't nearly as bad as expected here, aside from some water in the basement. Those of you on the coast, I am thinking of you, it looked pretty bad.

OMG, this. I've had a headache every morning since Saturday because of the change in pressure. Yesterday it wouldn't go away, even after I took extra strength Tylenol.
We lost power, it's kind of chilly in the house. We are all home today, MH's work has no power either. Lost a shutter and some siding. Roads are a terrible mess, trees and utility poles down EVERYWHERE. Luckily we are safe and dry!! We just have no idea how long until the fix the electricity. That was some insane wind last night, never heard anything like it.

We surprisingly didn't lose power though when I was coming home last night it looks like some of our neighborhood did. Some of the neighborhoods near us lost power and they have underground lines while ours are above ground. I left work around 5:30 because we were dead and I wanted to get on the road before it got dark.
We didn't lose power and it didn't hy us all that bad. We are in Baltimore and there is some flooding right down by the water but nothing like what was predicted. MH is home today because his work shut down due to the travel restriction in Baltimore city. Only emergency and medical personnel allowed on the roads from 6pm last night to noon today.
We still don't have power, lost it last night. I am sitting in my car charging my phone. We lost a tree, it almost hit the house, and our fence is trashed. Needless to say, dh is going to be spending a lot of time dealing with insurance. PSEG is saying we might not get power back until Monday.
My parents don't have power and neither does my grandmother, so we are screwed. Hopefully it doesn't get too cold tonight, I'll be walking around the house in a fur coat.

Take Care!
Thanks, we are trying to feed the baby by candle light... It's not going so well.
