When do you ovulate?

My cycles have been different in length nearly every month. I've had some 28 days cycles, 30, 31, and 32. Last month it was 28 and I believe I ovulated on day 16 see last months chart. Today is day 16 and no signs of ovulation and continue to get negative OPKs and my temp is still down. Anyone else in a similar boat? I'm wondering if I'm not ovulating each cycle.

I never thought getting pregnant would take this long. sigh

I got lucky and ovulated on CD27 this cycle. My last baby was conceived on CD38.

Day 17 for this cycle, it has been pretty consistent in the past few cycles.

It's been getting earlier and earlier each cycle.  Last cycle it was day 16, before that 18, before that 21, before that 27, and before that 37.  So who knows what this month with hold.

According to FF (which, although good, is relying on my sometimes questionable data) my cycles have ranged from 25-35 days and my day of ovulation has ranged between 14 and 23.  Since I started charting, I haven't seen any 20s, but I have seen a 17.

I don't believe I ovulated months 4 or 5 off the pill, but I was only using OPKs (and not very successfully). I only started temping after more than a year off the pill. I do see ovulation consistently now (and usually have no trouble identifying a LH surge).

Anyway, all this is to say, I've seen quite a bit of variation and I think it took my body a while to regulate. Best wishes!

I have cycles that are 25-27 days long and I ovulate between days 12-15.

CD12-15 for me and I have cycles from 23-27 days.

I see you got a + OPK today. Assuming ovulation tomorrow and a 12 day luteal phase like last month, that will put you right on track for a 30 day cycle. Going forward, it's likely you'll be ovulating between days 16 and 20 and have 28-32 day cycles. That is, if you don't get pregnant. Good luck! I hope this is your month.

Awesome, ladies!  Thanks so much for your input!  I don't have a lot of "real" friends in my life that are trying to get pregnant, and my friends that do have children got pregnant really quickly and easily, so you are all my go to people when I have questions! 

Annalisel-Yes!  I got a +OPK today!  I am so excited!  I missed getting a positive test last month because I had only been testing once a day and I think I missed the surge but am still pretty confident that I ovulated.  I hope this is your month as well!  Thanks for the good info and feedback about my chart :-)
