Tell a group of 5th graders that I am expecting twins. Has anyone seen one of the candy posters, or any little craft I could pass out?

I just told my third graders once I got past 24weeks.  Didn't do anything special.  Most of their parents knew because they had seen my big belly around school.

Are you at a school where it would be ok to make a lesson out of it? I was on my second year of sex ed by 5th grade, all basic stuff but I know me and my classmates would have certainly been curious and had questions.  Maybe a short lesson about the different ways twins are made and how they're alike genetically (or not) could be a fun way to tell them all, answer their questions AND teach them something. Do some fun facts like whether or not twins have the same finger prints, or if being the same sex means they're identical.

My coworker helped me make a cardboard oven, and I put two buns in it. were going to see if the kids can figure it out. They don't do sex Ed till march though, and I'm not the teacher. Hope this goes well. I brought them twix candy.
