Pre school

Any Moms who teach in a Pre school? I was recently issued my temp certificate to teach Pre K -3, but its been so dang hard to find a job in the public school system. I decided to take a job in a pre school teaching VPK. The one benefit is I can bring my LO for a discounted price. Any one else doing this, and how much do you like / dislike it?? Thanks!

I taught Preschool at a center for a few years. This was before I had LO. It was okay. I have considered it as a possibility in the future.

I was a teacher before staying at home. I am currently working on becoming a pre school teacher so I can work part time until my son is school age (and at least stay in my career field and not have a huge resume gap) which then I hope to return to teaching full time. I just volunteer at a preschool right now but so far I like it a lot better then elementary school. There seems to be a lot less pressure, there are several teachers to a room and it seems like a lot more fun! If it didn't pay so crappy I would totally just switch to early childhood education.
