I have the Geico Snugride Duo glider(?) I really like it some think its too heavy, but i don't have an issue with it. It folds pretty easily and it has storage underneith, a cup holder for mom and a cubby for whatever you need stored.

I have bumbleride indie twin. I use it for exactly that - walks around the neighborhood. Though it is not necessarily lighweight, it is awesome! It steers very easily (my double snap and go is much harder to steer) and the girls are very comfortable in it. I hope to be able to use it all the way till they outgrow strollers.
