If your LO slept in your room in the beginning, when did you transition them to their own room? E sleeps in a PnP in our room, and I'm happy with that. She still gets up at least once to nurse, and it's just easier for me to get her, nurse her, and put her back down all in our room. But I don't want her to get too used to sleeping in our room, as she gets older. I would like to have our bedroom back sometime, if you know what I mean. Part of me thinks she's still young enough to not be forming habits, but part of me may just not want to let her go. What did you do?

I don't know how people sleep with babies in their room long term. My lo makes quite a but if noise and liked to thrash around. All the movement keeps me on edge.
If you want your room back, you should probably transition soon since no bad habits are forming now, but they can happen in the near future.

Both boys slept in a bassinet next to DH's side of the bed in the beginning. Although I think there was a lot more bed sharing than co-sleeping.
At about 3mo we Ferberized them to the crib in the nursery. With DS1 it took 3 nights and the 4th night was fine. With DS2 it took 2 nights and the 3rd night was fine.

We just moved Grayson into his room into his crib two days ago. He had been sleeping in a pack 'n play in our room. The transition was easy peasy for him - he slept through the night like he has been. However, Dad was up all night worried about him
Good luck with the transition!
TTC #2
we moved DS to his room after 3 months (adjusted--he was a preemie). he slept in a PNP upto then.

Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
with our ds, he was in our room until 4 months old and when I wanted to start the transition we started just at nap time so he would get used to the idea of being alone. after a week or so of that we would start the first half of the night in his room and if he woke up he could come back with us. didnt take long and he was fine in his room!
