So one of my coworkers comes up to me while I'm talking to another coworker and says "you don't look very pregnant in that shirt" and I just said "oh well" and then she says "no, that's a good thing"... Really?? What the hell is that supposed to mean? I just ignored her and kept talking. People are really stupid. It kills me how they think they're trying to be funny or trying to compliment somehow and you just want to say are you hearing yourself?! ugh.
Re: unnecessary comments
Haha! Oh jeez. I had a coworker the other day say, "Some days you look huge and others I can barely tell your pregnant at all."
I just kinda laughed it off and was like, "Oh well probably depends on what I'm wearing or what I've been eating." :P
lol yes, some days I look pregnant and other days I just look fat I feel like! I look huge when I wear a tight shirt and eat a lot!! haha
I've changed my tactics when dealing with weirdo pregnancy comments!!
My new "go-to" when someone makes a strange/negative comment body-related & negative about "the woes" of normal pregnancy life... I just lovingly touch my bump and say "I love my pregnant body...how many people grew a human today? It's pretty amazing!"
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
