Friday: Ran some errands after work and took Ky out to dinner.
Sat: Tumbling in Halloween costumes! It was so cute. I wish I had brought my phone in to snap pictures but I always leave it in my car! I met A's mom at our usualy spot (about halfway betwwen their house and mine) to drop Ky off for the weekend. I went home and cleaned/vegged on the couch. I cooked a lot that evening: meatballs in a red wine sauce (omg so delicious I am going to make another batch to stick in the freezer), penne in cream sauce, scones (which did not turn out so much), crock pot bbq pork, and some marinated chicken I stuck in the freezer for a later date.
Sun: Vegged around, picked Ky up, met A at the park for a visit. Went home to dinner being done in the crockpot. That night Ky and I did pumpkins. I carved (she helped scoop out the "gups") and she painted. She was a MESS but thankfully the whole dish detergent in the paint trick worked its miracles and you would never know she was once covered in green/blue paint! It was a lot of fun. My seeds are soaking per TMM instructions!
Friday - met L and the kids for dinner and then went to a Trunk or Treat with friends. KIds went to bed late and were exhausted.
Sat - errands in the morning and then the kids' soccer game. Afterward, we rushed to the the fall festival at the kids school, home for some hurricane preparations, and then out for an early dinner. Came home and watched a movie/went to bed early.
Sun - L installed blinds in our playroom/basement, out to get some tools for the blinds for the french doors and lunch, home for more blind installation, L put one of her new bookshelves together with the kids while I putzed around doing stuff around the house. Stayed up too late monitoring the storm/trying to figure what I was going to do about work.
Friday - I called M around 11am and asked her if she wanted to do lunch. I think I had cabin fever but unfortunately her day was totally crammed busy. When she got home (and noticed I wasn't in sweats or yoga pants) and I was completely dressed she told me to pick any restaurant, give her a few minutes and we were going out. It was fantastic. She took me on a date night and did all the datey type stuff. Not to mention dinner was amazing!
Saturday - I was up at 7:30am! I had the dishes done, breakfast made, and laundry loads on the table folded, hung and put away by 9. M made her appearance around that time and we started to work on the house. I just want to say I have the best wife in the world! She went and cleaned our bedroom from top to bottom including closet and baseboards by herself. Then she rearranged the furniture to better fit the boys stuff in our room. We passed out around 9pm being exhausted from cleaning.
Sunday - We ran some errands to get some organizational things for the garage, and our closet to better make it work for us. I vacuum packaged a lot of pre-pregnancy clothes to get them out of the closet and slid them under our bed. I figure at best case I will be pulling them out next Spring hopefully. M and I worked to get the garage re-organized and now I can start parking back in there!!!!
During the course of the weekend cleaning spree, I found a ton of things we don't need. I will be doing a garage sale on the 10th and then donating what doesn't sell! I figure if I can make a few bucks we can put that towards the boys.
Overall it was a great weekend with great weather.

Friday - baked and prepared for Saturday's LGBT Hallowen picnic
SAT - Hung out at a park with a ton of LGBT familes and at lots of crapola ... had a blast with all the kids. This was our biggest turn out ever! SO AWESOME!
Sat night realized we missed our neighborhood potluck BOO - M and I both thought it was on HALLOWEEN but neither of us read the paper cus it was not on halloween MOMMY FAIL !
Sun - M cleaned house I cleaned out Garage and took DOS BABIES to the park and we ran around and got down and dirty !
Friday: E and I got wood-fired pizza from a food truck that's been set up in our 'burb for a few weeks now. It was kinda spendy, but fun for E to see. We took that home and had pizza and a movie night.
Saturday: It was pouring when we woke up. We hung around the house and when the rain seemed to let up a bit, we headed for the pumpkin patch. Picked out our pumpkins, E played in the corn pit and the hay maze, and then we headed for home. E dressed in her costume and we went to the neighborhood halloween party at the park. The heavy rains held off until the party was almost over but it was super cold and I'm impressed E lasted as long as she did. Then it was home to make tofu fried rice for dinner.
Sunday: E's nana and papa were supposed to pick her up mid-morning but didn't make it there until after noon. They took her to another pumpkin patch and a movie. I used the time to do chores, run some errands and work on finishing carving E's pumpkin. E was home when I'd asked them to drop her off, but hadn't had dinner, so I scrambled to feed her and get her in bed on time.
My weekend was good. On Saturday, Mrs_F and I had a play date with the kiddos. Sunday was spent writing my business plan. I really could have used a three day weekend to get more writing done.
