I just wanted to wish everyone good luck in the next few days. It looks like it's going to be crazy. There's a lot of flooding here already. We ended up leaving to stay at my FILs house until Sandy passes. We were concerned with some of the large trees on our property. While we were loading the car the fire trucks came through our neighborhood telling people to leave. We're only in the next town over, but at least it's more inland, and there aren't many large trees here. Best of luck and stay safe everyone!

Aww, I'm sorry your little man is going through a storm on his birthday. 

I hope that everyone stays safe!

I don't know what's up with my ticker, but his birthday was last weekend thankfully. I'll have to change that. Thanks though DS couldn't care less about the storm. He loves his grandpa to death, and he's in his glory with all of the attention he's getting. I have a feeling he might be a little spoiled by the time we go home.

Good luck to everyone! We are right in the path of the storm here in NE PA. We have warnings over 70 MPH winds. While we don't have a flood risk because we are miles from the shore, the wind is scaring the crap out of me!! Good luck to all. Be back when the power comes back, because I'm sure it's going to go out...

We are hunkered in until it is over. DH is working until tomorrow am so I am praying he stays safe and we don't lose power here.

We are supposed to be getting horrible wind and rain starting this afternoon.  (it is raining now, but it isn't too bad yet)  We will lose power I am sure, which means we also won't have any water. 

My work never closes, so I am at work this morning.

You too! We already have no heat, so probably we will pack up and leave soon as well (the storm isnt even really here yet either)

Boston here too hopefully it won't be too bad, but we are right near the harbor. They closed the schools so i am home, but I'm waiting for H's work to send him home. They are closing public transportation at 2 pm and that is how he gets to work.

We're near Pittsburgh, so while we're supposed to get rain and heavy winds, it won't be nearly as bad as those of you in the path of the storm.  You guys are in my prayers!

It's not really even raining here yet, but everything is closed already.  DH is one of 4 people that went into his office.  We brought in the patio furniture, but I think we will be ok, we might lose power for a little while, but not much more than that.  Good luck everyone!

We're not supposed to get it nearly as bad up here as you are in the States, but our bbq already got blown over by the crazy winds (our city has crazy wind under normal circumstances, though).  Other than the wind, I don't think it will be too bad here, luckily.
