New and TTC @ 43 for the first time

Hi, I'm Jenni and I'm 43 and DH is 44 in November. We've been married two years coming up on Nov 6. We just started TTC this month since my annual doc visit. My AMH came back in the low range. We didn't start earlier b/c of a myriad of health problems (me) including being diagnosed with hypothyroidism just a few months after our wedding. Kind of stalled our plans. 

 We're trying on our own til December, then if it doesn't work we're heading to the docs for a referral to a fertility specialist.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your health issues and I hope you can get pregnant easily. Just an fyi if you're interested in pinpointing your fertile days and helping to speed things along, you can take your basal body temperature and use opks to track your cycles. The website fertilityfriend.com is amazing and does all the charting and interpretation for you.It's also very reassuring to have the confirmation that you ovulate each cycle. GL
