Baby Constipation

My baby girl is constipated. She popped once yesterday, last night, not solid though, and hasn't pooped at all today. Any advice on how to help her?

We have a dr appt on Thursday for her two week appointment but I'm still worried. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort but...she's supposed to be pooping more.

Is she bf or formula fed? My pedi told me it could take lo 9 days to poop and its totally fine

She's pooped a lot before the last few days. She is ff.

Some babies poop multiple times per day and others poop every 3 or 4 days.  Both are considered normal.  Your baby is not "constipated" if she pooped last night.  Give her some time...

Baby poop schedules are totally different than adults.  It's not how frequent they poop but the consistency of their poop when they do. My LO goes once every 3 or so days any it's normal for them to go up to a week or more without going.  As long as when she poops its soft (like peanutbutter if she's FF or loose and "seedy" if she's BF)  and not clay-like then you're fine.

My pediatrician told me it was normal for a baby not to go for up to 5-7 days. That said, my DS pooped every single day, all day long, and then didn't poop for 3 days out of the blue. He was uncomfortable and I could tell he needed to go, so the pediatrician told me to buy child suppositories, cut one in half, and give it to him. About an hour later, he pooped from head to toe. You know your baby, do what you feel is right for her.
