International Bumpies

Oh how I love Canada (at least my little part of it)

Because it's been snowing for 4 days.  And it's supposed to snow the rest of this week.  Winter is here to stay.

  • Snow already?! Where are you? I'm so not ready for winter. Thankfully I'll be on mat leave till July and can hibernate all winter if I wanna.

  • We got a dusting of snow Saturday morning in my area of Germany (not sticking to the roads though) and I was so surprised!  I was hoping winter wouldn't come quite so soon...we don't even have our snow tires on yet and they are mandatory here for driving in "winter conditions."  On the other hand I'm hoping we'll see more snow soon so DD can go out and play in it!

  • I'm in northern Alberta.  And we now have probably 4 inches of snow on the ground.  It snowed a couple weeks ago, right after Thanksgiving, but that disappeared.  We didn't have snow tires on then yet but they sure went on the week after that!

  • Shhhhhh don't say that!!! The snow will hear you and not go away!  But you're probably right, I grew up near GP, and there was always snow around Halloween and it never went away until close to April. I think ours is melting away though. Go Chinook!!
  • Same here! I'm in central Alberta and we have a good 8 inches of snow where we are... I want to put up our Christmas tree! :)

Here's hoping it's not too big... I still haven't quite figured the picture thing out
