When do they nap2/day??

I totally forget! My newbie is just 3 months & all over the map for naps but I'm trying to remember when they seem to start napping 2/day.....

Anyone there yet?

DD was at a set schedule with two naps a day at 4 months old. We follow a 2-3-4 then and still do.

7 months and we had to push him a bit from 3 to 2.

DS still sometimes has three naps, but we are usually down to two and that's still pretty recent

For us she dropped her 2nd nap over a month ago.  But every now & then she will take a 3rd nap if 1. She had a crappy night sleep (teething) or 2. She refused to sleep longer than an hour at her 2nd nap. She actually did this yesterday but would not go for a 3rd catnap I tried and tried so she just went to bed 30 mintues earlier. And that was a struggle to keep her awake but I wasn't letting her nap at 6pm at night.

DD didn't drop her 3rd nap until 6ish months if I remember correctly.   And she had no set pattern for naps until she did drop that 3rd nap.  She's on a good schedule now, but that didn't happen until 8/9 months.

same here... we were still at three naps up until around 6 months i think. He has been on two a day for awhile. 1.5 hours in the am and 2 hours in the pm... probably since 7 months or so.

Our LO didn't go down to 2 naps a day until around 5.5 or 6 months, once she started taking longer naps, which happened when she started rolling over on her own and sleeping on her tummy.

DD napped 3x/day until 6months. She's 9mo now and still naps 2x/day.
