how much do u pay in child care?

Im just wondering how much other people pay for child care..

I have two kids now and i have an aunt that watches them, i live at the very bottom of Texas  so its a small city and i know going rates here are a lot less then other big citys in Texas. And the hubby and i talked about upping her pay since #2 came along. So we were only paying a $100 a week and know were talking about $175 a week. So im wondering how that compares to what other people pay whether its a daycare or a sitter like mine..

I also live in Texas and pay $95 a week for my 17 month old. I have a friend who has a sitter that watches her 2 yr old and her 14 month old for $175 a week.

I live in the Bay Area - CA and I am a childcare provider. I charge $250/week for one child and $475/week for 2 children. $1000/month is about average for this area.

I'm in a small Texas town and it will be $130 a week for DS in a center. I have a friend that pays a friend who keeps some kids and I think she pays $100 a week (for one).

I live in Tampa. DS goes to daycare part time, but full time at his daycare is around $225/week. I think home daycares are a little less.

I'm in one of the Houston suburbs and will be paying 130 per week for a licensed athome nanny who watches a few other kids at her house.

L is in a center and it's $250 per week for FT care. We live in Orlando.

We pay 1700.00 per month for our 2.5 week old and 2 month old.

We haven't started daycare yet, but the one she will be going to is $300/week for full time care. That's on the lower end around here for quality centers - this one is subsidized by my work. Similar quality centers in the area are $350 - $400/week.

ETA: That's for one infant. Rates for toddlers are slightly cheaper, but there is no discount for having two or more siblings enrolled.

I'm in the Great Lakes area - average smaller city.  We pay about $110/week for one and it will go up to about $180/week when the second kiddo starts attending.  It's an in-home daycare licensed for 12; not a center.  They do a sibling discount and we only pay when LO's are there.  I work four days/week so this is really great for us.

$180 for DS #1 (2 yrs), $230 for DS #2 (12 weeks)

Right now for DD (2 years old) I pay $175/week for 3 part time days. Once I go back to work in January, we will be paying $425/week for both 3 full time days.  It sucks, but it's a corporate daycare center that I really really like so it's worth it to me.
