LO has a rash?

Okay so I am a FTM to a beautiful 1 week old little boy! hes so precious and so far I am loving every exhausting moment of it!

 I noticed the last couple days he has had some red bumps on his face, at his weight check on wednesday the pediatrician said it was just "baby acne" from his and my hormones changing as well as his skin just adjusting to life outside of me. 

today I noticed he has those bumps in various locations on his body too, he doesnt seem bothered AT ALL by the bumps not extra fussy or squirmy. could these just be those hormone bumps too or maybe a heat rash (I live in florida). any advice will be helpful!!

Just happened to my baby, too. It went away in less than 24 hours. I had called my doctor's office to see what they thought, but they said newborns get a lot of skin reactions and "usually they go as quickly as they come on." True in my case! But if it seems to bother him, I would call.

Babies, especially newborns, get all kinds of rashes and bumps.  My LO has severe eczema but it started out as a few bumps on her face.  Turned out she was sensitive to OUR detergent.  So we started using Tide Free and Clear and rewashed everything that she could possibly touch.
