Nipple pain and itchiness after stopping BFing

I stopped BFing and pumping on Monday, and while I'm no longer engorged, my boobs and nipples are still hurting - there's a general soreness to my boob, and my nipple is really sensitive and hurts to the touch and it's also kind of itchy.  I'm also constantly feeling that let down tingle.

How long till this pain stops? It's very uncomfortable, and i really just need my body back for my sanity. The engorgement I think i could handle but this is different, and it's a billion times worse at night when I'm sleeping on my back.

 I only pumped/breastfed for 2 weeks, so I kind of assumed this would be less painful than it was when I stopped after pumping with DD1 for 2 months.

I have no idea but I'm in the same boat you're in! When I take off my bra all I want to do is just scratch my boobs!

Have you gone to kellymom.com? They have lots of breastfeeding info including how to stop breastfeeding and have a great message board as well.
