Good Evening Ladies.  I hope everyone?s weekend is off to a great start!  

 

Please forgive me if I miss anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.

If you were gifted 10k right now and were not allowed to use it on IF what would you spend it on?

Update on me:  I had a repeat HSG today to see if my tubes were open.  If they were we were going to move to IVF, if not we were going to do another injectable cycle if recommended.  I felt like today we would have a plan.  Nope, another snag as the RE found a uterine polyp and decided we need to do a saline u/s to see if the polyp is why we are not getting pg.  I know waiting till Monday isn't a big deal, but I really do better with a plan.  I posted question above about polyps and would love any input.  Right now I am on hold taking BCPs due to a cyst on my ovary. UGH!

 QOTW:

We were get a big start on finishing our basement.  DH was amazing and let me do whatever I wanted to the main floor, but he deserves a space of his own and I would love a crafty room and playroom too!

Since AF is taking her sweet azz time showing up for the 2nd month in a row, I started prometrium tonight in hopes of nudging her along.  As soon as she shows up, I'm on to BCPs, and FX, a full cycle.

QOTW:  I guess I'd be practical and put it towards DH's grad school tuition.  Not exciting, but like IF, it's a big debt we're taking on.

On cd15 doing the whole over analyzing because I got a opk cd8. This is my first cycle with Letrozole.

Qotw: Definately toward truck or camper payment ugh the faster they get paid the faster mama gets new wheels

Update:  Started stims (Follistim) for our first IVF cycle!!!

QOTW:  Easy! I would put it toward redoing our kitchen since I am currently without one after it had to be gutted because of our pipe leak.

Update: 2WW. I test next Friday so one week down.

QOTW: I'd like to go on a trip to Hawaii and bring my parents.

Update: 7DPIUI, and my temps look great. I'm on crinone. Beta scheduled for 11/1.

QOTW: That $10k would go right into paying for our new furnace (signing the contract on Monday.) Sadly that wouldn't cover the whole bill.

Update:  We are currently in the process of our first FET cycle while TTC #2.  So far everything has gone right on schedule and we will have our Embryo Transfer sometime on Monday!! (I will find out all the details today).  I could use all the extra t&p for a successful and sticky baby.

QOTW: Pay off Cred Card and our upcoming Hawaii vacation (although that's kind of cheating since a chunk of it is our current cycle).  The rest put in savings to use towards a down payment on a new house!

Well I'm on CD 5 started round two of clomid on CD 3 and progesterone suppositories after I O. I am more hopeful this cycle than ever before.

QOTW: if I had 10k I would donate it to Autism Research to help families that need support. I've been blessed to have great insurance that covers all of my sons therapy but not everyone has that.

Update:  Last BCP today, yay!!!  Still chugging along on Lupron.  Baseline is next Friday and stims start next Saturday.  I am self injecting all meds this time since DH said he has a major phobia of needles and is truly traumatized from last time, boo I am getting through it though. It is amazing what we can do when we have to, I am worried about doing the trigger and PIO shots myself but I am taking things one shot a time.

 

QOTW:  Either graduate school student loan debt or mortgage debt, not very fun.

Update:

I'm 13dpo, and am positive that I will be onto cycle #11/month #14 on Tuesday.  UGGH!!  I did make my first appointment with an RE this week.  The earliest they can see us is November 28th, so I have one more cycle to get KU'd up on my own.  A girl can dream, right??!!

 QOTW:

I would like a new camera, a new couch, and new flooring.....I think 10k could cover all of that!

Baby2 Starting to get some contractions, mostly practice though. Baby is measuring almost 3 weeks ahead and about 7lbs already. Yikes!

Baby3 I am CD 19 but I O late if I do O so still waiting to O.

Update: i posted this on thursday, but IUI #1 got cancelled last minute after my bloodwork came back showing that i have recently acquired cytomegalovirus (CMV).  they will not do IUI until my bloodwork is clear of that since there is a 5% chance of transferring it to a fetus.  They do not even want us trying on our own, and I will have to start BCPs next cycle and get new bloodwork after the first of the year.  if its clear then, we can proceed with IUI again.  However we did have TI two days before ovulation so there is still a chance this cycle could work as I was on letrazole and i responded really well to it.  I had two mature follies.  So i am sorta hopeful but also really bummed that we could not do the IUI.  

 QOTW: probably use the money for one of the many household projects we need to do!  either kitchen remodel or building a deck and doing other outdoor projects.

I am mid-cycle on BCP for suppression prior to upcoming IVF cycle in Dec.  This will be IVF #3 for us, and I am hopeful that new RE, new protocol and new approach is going to result in success!  

QOTW:  Well, I might have said a great vacation, but we just went on vacation last month, so....  I think I would use it to upgrade our home in some way.  Maybe some new flooring in the kitchen, new wall hangings, surround-sound in great room.   I am all about "make your home a haven," which I think is particularly important for those of us who are under a lot of stress.

I'm on cd32 and no AF yet. I'm a ball of nerves for beta Monday. I can't believe I haven't caved and POAS yet.

I would definitely use it towards updating something in my house.

I'm scheduled for my baseline appointment on Tuesday. I'm praying it won't be cancelled. Hurricane Sandy is supposed to hit us late Monday night. If all goes well, I start the lupron injections!

I'm not going to lie...if I had $10,000 to spend and not on IVF, I'm having tummy tuck!

I am CD 12 of a try-on-our-own month. I also have an RE appointment on Tuesday to order meds for our 1st IUI next month- VERY EXCITED!

 

QOTW: I'd like to use the 10K to pay off a little debt and buy new kitchen countertops. Oh a girl can dream, can't she

Update: I'm on cd 7 and just finished my last dose of Clomid. Thank God. This cycle has been crazy stressful so far with lots of migraines. I hope they stop soon. Now, just waiting to O.

QOTW: I would love to get new floors downstairs. Ah, if only.

I had u/s sat no follicle to be seen but estrogen was rising (179) Have to go back on monday for u/s and blood work to see if iui takes place on wed.

10 grand would be great for a newer car than the one we have.

No news here.  Started a new cycle.  Just waiting until January to get the RE party started unless a BFP surprises us.

10K would be awesome. For fun stuff,  I'd probably get a nice camera and use some of it for a fun family vacation.  But the responsible thing to do would be to put it towards our mortgage, a new car (mine is a dinosaur), or a student loan.

We are on a break this cycle.  I have a consultation this week for IVF.  I am so anxious to learn about our next step since this is a first for me.  I'm going to try not to stress about it an enjoy our break cycle.  I've already enjoyed a glass of wine and not worrying about my caffeine intake (I have a slight addiction to coffee....)! 

 I'm also going to try not to get on the bump too much this month, although I will try to log on for the weekly updates. 

QOTW:  Just last week I was saying how much I wish I had $10,000...but I can't remember what I was wanting to do with it.  Ha!  I would probably take a vacation back to Hawaii.  I'd have a small shopping spree and get a few things I've been wanting for photography.  I'd also hire someone to clean my house and hang Christmas lights.
