NyQuil while breast feeding?

I haven't been feeling well for a couple days and now tonight I can't seem to stop coughing. Is it ok to take NyQuil/cough medicine to try to get some sleep? Thoughts?

I'd check kellymom.com.  There could be meds in there (decongestants) that might mess with your supply, but I'm not certain.

NyQuil has an ingredient doxylamine which is considered possibly unsafe in breastfeeding. I wouldn't take it.

I was told no NyQuil but robutussion is ok as long as its not multi symptom. And I think Tylenol cold is ok too.

No. You can take Tylenol, but that's it. 

Personally, it makes me way too drowsy anyways.
